Ramesh’s story
My grandmother made oils in her kitchen in the hills, and I learned to recognise tulsi, neem and brahmi before I could read.
A good treatment begins long before the oil touches the skin.
I trained in Ayurvedic therapies in Kerala and came home to Nepal to work with the plants I grew up with. Every oil we use at Divyalaya is cooked slowly here, from herbs in our own garden.
In a treatment I listen first. Some guests need deep, warm Abhyanga; others need the stillness of Shirodhara. We decide together.

- Diploma in Ayurvedic therapies, Kerala
