The small print

Privacy policy

What we collect, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Draft wording. Written in plain language as a starting point. Have it checked by a lawyer in Nepal before launch. Last updated 15 October 2026.

What we collect

  • Your name, email and phone number when you book, ask to buy or write to us
  • Your delivery address when you order from the shop
  • Health notes you choose to share so we can keep you safe

Why we need it

To confirm and manage your booking, send your confirmation and reminders, deliver your order, and answer your messages. We send our monthly letter only if you sign up for it.

Payments

We don’t take payments on the website. When you pay by card at the desk, the bank’s card machine handles your card. We never see or store your full card number.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run Divyalaya: our email service, WhatsApp for messages you start, and the courier for shop deliveries. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as Nepal’s tax rules require. Everything else is deleted after two years without a booking or order.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by writing to hello@divyalaya.com. You can stop the monthly letter by replying to it.

Cookies

The website uses no tracking cookies. Your browser keeps your currency choice and your bag on your own device, and nothing else.
