Day by day
How the stay unfolds
An outline of a typical stay. Shorter and longer retreats follow the same rhythm.
Day 1Arrive and land
Pickup from Kathmandu, a slow lunch in the garden and a welcome sound bath at sunset. Most guests sleep early.
Day 2Find the rhythm
Dawn yoga, breakfast, your first Abhyanga massage, an afternoon to rest, and the evening sound bath.
Day 3Walk to the monastery
A gentle two-hour walk through rice terraces to a hilltop gompa, lunch with the monks, Yin yoga on your return.
Day 4Go deeper
A private sound session, Shirodhara and herbal steam. The quietest day of the week.
Day 5Carry it home
A last dawn practice, a short session on keeping a home practice going, then breakfast and goodbyes.
